A Cut Forever Clean

 THE LAKELAND SERIES.

A series of three knives introduced at the First Lakeland Bushcraft Event 2011. A bushcraft knife, (Windermere). Heavy Hunter, (Grasmere) and a semi skinner, (Rydale).

 WINDERMERE

The Windermere, an all out bushcrafter with a erganomic shaped handle for comfort in use and a shorter than normal blade length, (3.5inch), but more depth to give better balance and feel using 1/8inch stock material. The grind is the usual scandi type. Well recieved by all that have tested it.  Tested by the Bushcraft and survival magazine November 2011 issue.

I have not had a price increase on my knives for a few years now though rising cost make this inevitable. I still think the asking price of £190 is very good value.

SPEC... Length overall......8 inch, Blade length.....3.5 inch. Blade depth.....28mm. 1/8 inch 01 tool steel. Handle in Birdseye Maple or Curly Birch standard, double loveless type bolts and lanyard tube..... other materials on request. Sheath is my standard bushcraft affair.

GRASMERE

The Grasmere, Heavy hunter, as the title suggests, is a larger more weighty knife that is a good bushcrafter/general purpose hunter. Similar styling to the Windermere but uses thicker stock, longer blade,(4inch), with greater depth. The grind is a half convex.

The Rydale, designed as a semi skinner type with a full flat grind and secondary bevel. again similar to the Windermere in style. The blade is 4mm stock, with a shorter, (8.5cm ) length,  and distral tapered. Steel can be 01 tool steel or rwl 34 stainless.
